The 3 days Komodo liveaboard diving trip will go deep into the best Komodo National Park dive sites. You will have 9 dives in total, including a trek on Komodo Island or Rinca island to see Komodo Dragons.

Komodo National Park has world-class dive sites. There are over 20 extraordinary diving spots found in this National Park. Exploring this amazing underwater world is one of the best-recommended activities while visiting Indonesia.

The vibrant coral reef, the magic of Manta Rays, and the current-swept sea mounds exploding with life will delight divers at all levels. Join this 3 days Komodo liveaboard diving trip with our professional divemaster. Our Guide will ensure that you will get the best experience on your Komodo fun dives.

This diving trip will start from Labuan Bajo. You will pick up at the hotel at 07.30 am and drive to the dock for boat diving transfers. Our teams are welcome you onboard and ready to serve you better.

What to Experience on 3 Days Komodo Liveaboard Diving Trip?

Experience Komodo dive is one of the goals for most divers, both professional and beginners. Komodo National Park is not only famous for the wildlife of Komodo Dragons but also for its world-class dive sites. Explore the National Park can take both activities diving and leisure.

What to experience during this 3 days Komodo Liveaboard diving trip are:
  • Experience dive at the Tatawa Besar. Enjoy beautiful coral reefs. See Manta Rays, angel fish, eagle rays, turtles, sweet lip fish, and cuttlefish.
  • Dive at Siaba Besar. This place is one of the best to spot turtles. Siaba is located in the center of Komodo National Park, it is well known as a Turtle City.
  • Experience diving at Cauldron. This dive site is located between Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut in the north of Komodo National Park. It has a strong current, but you will have fun with it. What you will expect to see are Shark, Manta Rays, Reef fish, and Pygmy sea horse
  • Explore the amazing underwater world at Castle Rock and Crystal Rock. These places are located in the north of Gili Lawa island. What to expect on these dive sites are see reef sharks, eagle rays, schools of tuna and barracudas, giant trevallies, groupers, and Spanish mackerels.
  • Night dive at Siaba Besar or Wae Nilu. You will experience soft corals, thornback cowfish, frogfish, ghost pipefish, and blue ring octopus.
  • Experience diving at Batu Bolong. It is an underwater seamount and you will go down to untouched deep. You will see reef fish, napoleon wrasse, and sharks. This dive site has a healthy coral reef and is one of the best dive spots in Komodo.
  • Dive with schools of Manta Rays at Manta Point. This is a place where you will find various kinds of Manta Rays.

Diving Trip Itinerary:

Note that this itinerary is a guide only, we do not promise to visit some specific dive sites. It depends on sea conditions and the weather. The final choice of the itinerary will decide by your diving Guide.

Day 1: Depart from Labuan Bajo between 09.00 am. The first stop is at Sebayur Kecil. And then Tatawa Besar. After that, you will continue to Siaba Island or to the north of  Komodo National Park. On your first day will do 3 dives in Central Komodo including a night dive.

Day 2: On the second day, you will have a morning dive at Cauldron in the north Komodo National Park. And then continue to Castle Rock and Crystal Rock. The next dive is at Siaba Besar or Wae Nilu for a night dive.

Day 3: The first dive spot to visit is Batu Bolong. After that, you will continue diving at Manta Point. After diving at Manta Point, you will continue trekking on Rinca or Komodo Island to see Komodo Dragons. And then back to Labuan Bajo. You will arrive in Labuan Bajo at about 05.30 pm, hotel drop-off is available on the dock.

The Dive Boat Specification

Here bellows are the diving boat specifications and the facility. The boat is sailed from Labuan Bajo and can accommodate a maximum of 8 divers.

  • GPS and Plotter
  • Two Toilets and showers

Note: This dive trip is only recommended for open-water certified or advanced divers.

Includes:

  • Professional PADI dive guides; maximum of four guests per guide
  • High-quality scuba equipment: regulator, BCD, wetsuit, fins, boots, mask
  • 11-liter tank, 200bar air (15-liter tank available upon request, no extra charge)
  • Briefings covering boat orientation, safety, environmental protection, and for every dive site
  • Drinking water (water refill instead of plastic bottles)
  • Light breakfast (bananas, donuts, tea, coffee)
  • Lunch (freshly cooked lunch buffet served on board, we cater to vegans/vegetarians too)
  • Snacks during the day (biscuits, fruit, tea, coffee)

Cancelation and Change the Travel Date:

  • The cancelation made 5 months before the trip will refund 50% of the total amount of payment.
  • Cancelation made 3 months before the departure will refund 25 % of the total amount of payment.
  • Cancelation made 1 month before the departure date will no refund
  • Changes to the departure date are subject to availability, and if there is no availability on the chosen date, the available date applies. The refund is subject to the cancelation policy.
  • The cancelation and change date procedure is by sending us an email through our contact form.

Limitation of Responsibility:

  • Komodo Touristic acts as a Travel Agency. We only provide the booking platform for Tour Packages, Boat Charters, and Diving Packages. We will not serve any activities outside the above activities.
  • All of the holiday activities are available for Flores and Komodo National Park. We also provide Alor, Sumba Island, and a combination of 2 or 3 Island activities. We do not arrange any activities, not on this website.
  • Komodo Touristic will not be responsible for any bookings made outside of our website.
  • We will not be responsible for any loss, missing flight, injury, loss, and damages. And do not be responsible for any accident during the activities which caused death, delay of your flight, etc.
  • We will not be responsible for any condition of transportation used by the operator including cars, boats, or other types of transportation used during the activities.
  • We will not be responsible for the inconvenience caused by the action of staff during the activity. Government or other civil activities such as Demonstrations, War, and road traffic.
  • Komodo Touristic will not be responsible for any additional charge caused by delays, reschedules, or other causes.
  • We have the right to cancel the program or reschedule the program in the event of bad weather, or other operational reasons.
  • Changing any activities on this site is the authority of Komodo Touristic Tours and Travel.
